I must admit that it’s been a little upsetting to see Fall clothing being featured just about everywhere right now. I was poking around at Nordstrom the other day and they’ve already rolled out the an impressive display of UGG boots along with cozy wool clothing and lots of dark colors. I’m not sure if it’s because I live in a place that never seems to be cold enough warrant wearing knee-high boots, but every year I realize I’m never ready to let Summer slip away.
I was relieved to discover that our Chinatown neighbor Roberta Oaks has just launched her latest collection for Fall. Not to worry, she’s kept her designs completely relevant for us Hawaii gals and designed some warm-weather pieces that will work year-round. The talented Oaks has added adorable rompers and knit tops to her repertoire, along with some of her signature pieces reinterpreted in new prints and colorways. Check out her online shop here or stop by her shop next time you’re in Chinatown, 19 N Pauahi St. (808) 428-1214.
