Today I was hoping to see what type of colorful warm-weather duds the stylish people of NYC were wearing this season, so I popped on over to The Sartorialist blog. I was shocked and delighted to see that indeed they were sporting one of my current color obsessions (“flame,” a bright orangey-red) and one of the lovely ladies featured looked awfully familiar. Upon closer inspection I realized that I was looking at our good friend Mele of Meleana handbag fame. This perpetually chic local girl is known for her colorful handbags that are fashioned from vintage aloha fabrics.
